 Dot, Helen, and Betty 三姐妹   生於美國新罕布什爾州


家境十分貧困   但父親為她們買了樂器   

 付錢讓她們上音樂課 


 雖然她們毫無天份   父親仍逼迫她們到馬薩諸塞州的錄音室

  和一個名叫 " 第三世界 " 的深夜廣播電台簽下了一紙合約   

  在一天之內     Dot 寫完12首歌

 灌錄了第一張磁帶   名為 " 世界哲學 "    

 後來妹妹 Rachel 加入樂團彈奏bass      她們開始在週末固定演出

 父親於1975年過世後   樂團解散   再也沒有任何形式的演出



 此樂團名為 shaggs

There was a sports car on the road 

I thought I knew the fellow that drove
That little sports car was slippery as an oyster
Following it was like riding on a roller coaster

Around the corners and over the bumps
Every minute, faster and faster, my heart thumped 

Well, finally he stopped to get some gas
If I was to catch up I had to move fast 

I stepped on the gas and just made the corner
Wow, I was almost a goner 

When I got there he was gone
I don't know where I went wrong

The time went fast, it was late
I knew I had no time to waste 

I turned around and headed for home
